Next time you're wondering if you should actually go out in the cold weather for a run, think of this picture of a race in Calgary, Canada a couple weeks ago. The wind chill was -40°F!

"Every runner's greatest opponent is the wall--the wall of fatigue, that is. The goal of training is to push the wall of fatigue by increasing the maximum pace one can sustain from the start line to the finish line of a race. The goal of race execution is to actually run as fast as possible without hitting the wall before reaching the finish line. It's that simple." -------> Matt Fitzgerald <-------

A bunch of skinny Santas - that is picture worthy. You should have run with them. I hope they were serving milk and cookies at the finish line. C.W.
Better than cookies and milk at the finish line, they had cookies and milk at several stops along the course (instead of water/hydration stops).
I would have liked to run this one but wasn't in Ogden November 29. The race was started one hour before the Ogden Holiday Light Parade along the parade route.
