With the big boys on a steamy morning. No complaints from hamstring.

"Every runner's greatest opponent is the wall--the wall of fatigue, that is. The goal of training is to push the wall of fatigue by increasing the maximum pace one can sustain from the start line to the finish line of a race. The goal of race execution is to actually run as fast as possible without hitting the wall before reaching the finish line. It's that simple." -------> Matt Fitzgerald <-------

Roughed out plan was to run for an hour like yesterday. Knew that wasn't going to work my first step off the sidewalk. Hamstring was quite tight. Felt it the whole way. It seems to be improving only at a glacier's pace. Need to be careful to balance recovery with my extreme need to get mileage. Patience, Young Grasshopper, patience.

Just wanted to run for an hour to test left hamstring. First 4 miles, no problem. Then I started feeling it slightly. Just felt "over-stretched". By the time I hit last 2 miles, not feeling all that good.
Did cannonball routine yesterday. Plan to do it again today. Also, try icing morning and night.
