"Every runner's greatest opponent is the wall--the wall of fatigue, that is. The goal of training is to push the wall of fatigue by increasing the maximum pace one can sustain from the start line to the finish line of a race. The goal of race execution is to actually run as fast as possible without hitting the wall before reaching the finish line. It's that simple."

R.I.P. Garmin 205
After 2 years and over 400 runs, my Garmin 205 decided it had lived a full and useful life. It freaked out and died at the end of this evening's run.

Well - Father's Day is coming up, maybe you should talk to Cam about your present. Hope you can last without one till then.
Happy to report that my Garmin found new life. I think it is something wrong with the battery or the on/off switch. But it seems better ... for now.
Of course the day I realized it was functional again, the band broke. Nothing a little duct tape couldn't repair!
Thank you for the very nice thought of a new Garmin as a Father's Day gift.
