"Every runner's greatest opponent is the wall--the wall of fatigue, that is. The goal of training is to push the wall of fatigue by increasing the maximum pace one can sustain from the start line to the finish line of a race. The goal of race execution is to actually run as fast as possible without hitting the wall before reaching the finish line. It's that simple."

Hope you all got to see the show. If not, it will air again on Valentime's Day at 8PM Eastern and Pacific/7 Central.
I recorded Sunday night's broadcast on Discovery channel and just watched it last night. The program was great and very inspirational. I have always felt a certain welling up of emotions when running with those pushing a wheelchair during marathons. I usually comment to them as we pass by one another. Your story only strengthens my admiration. I also appreciate your deep faith and attitude toward Jesus Christ. Keep on running and rolling!
