Notes | Wore heart rate monitor and tried to keep it <136 bpm. Probably hung around 140 most of the time. Any other time I would have considered this pace an abject failure. With heart rate training, it's a success! It's all about perspective I suppose. I shouldn't have eaten before running. No stomach issues. I just think the theory of low heart rate training is likely better served on an "overnight empty" stomach; less readily available fuel. In a running first for me, saw a guy running along the shoreline path ... and shaving at the same time. Weird! |
