"Every runner's greatest opponent is the wall--the wall of fatigue, that is. The goal of training is to push the wall of fatigue by increasing the maximum pace one can sustain from the start line to the finish line of a race. The goal of race execution is to actually run as fast as possible without hitting the wall before reaching the finish line. It's that simple." -------> Matt Fitzgerald <-------

Christmas Eve on Antelope Island Revisited
The morning of Christmas Eve, I was in Utah visiting family for the holidays. My brother-in-law, Brandon, and I joined the Striders for a run on Antelope Island. I took a few pictures that didn't ever make it to the blog so here's a sampling of the day's sights.

You seen more buffalo's than I saw my first time in Yellowstone with Larry and Tierra!! We didn't see ONE! Brrr it looks cold..oh it is!
beautiful!
I didn't realize how close we were to the buffalo until I was looking at the pictures. That reminds me of the flyers they hand out as you go into Yellowstone Park warning not to go close to the wildlife. Specifically the buffalo because they can run 35 mph and have been known to charge at people.
