I'm taking two weeks off from running. My body and mind needs a rest. I started running almost two years ago and have only stopped or slowed down for injuries along the way.
I plan to post a couple things during my break ... maybe an assessment of my Austin marathon, some pictures from running on Antelope Island, and some philosophical thoughts about my running life.

Good for you! I hope your break does you good, and that you come back healthy and inspired!
You so badly need it Cory, you will come back stronger. Please keep posting every once in a while!

Thanks for the encouragement! I'm hopeful that the time off will give me an opportunity to recharge my batteries!

Thanks for the positive reinforcement. It feels a bit like I'm losing time and falling behind by sitting out a couple of weeks but I think it's the right thing to do. And now that I'm hearing it from Josh, William, you and others whose opinions I respect (and who are far more experienced than I), I more certain that it's the right approach for me ... and hopefully leads to improved running.
