I don't really know what it is but Memorial Park is a "fast track" for me these days. I think I just get over there around so many other people then get excited or something. I had no intention of running this fast but it really didn't feel like a big deal. Funny thing is that, if I remember right, my time was only 30 seconds slower than the first 5K race I ran 2 years ago. When I benchmark myself against the past, it much easier to see the improvement I've made over time.
